Most of our meat, dairy, and produce don't come from the kind of farm we thinks of. Large pastures where animals roam around, farmers tending to their animals and tending fields. It isn't how it works anymore. Nowadays, most of our food comes from what is called a "factory farm". Factory farms cramp animals together in cages and never show them broad day light. This causes fights, so the factory farms remove Chickens beaks (which there are other alternatives) and dock cows. Docking is a process used to remove a cow's tail. They place a rubber band on the cow's tail to the point that circulation is cut off and the tail just falls off. I challenge anyone who says that doesn't work to try it on a finger or toe and then say it doesn't hurt. There is a lot to cover, but a good place to start would be to watch the two "The Meatrix" movies.

It's gross to see how animals are being treated in factory farms, and yes theese are really practices factory farms practice.
