YES!
i love it. i bought series 1 dvd the other day and have been watching it ever since.
and yes, those two are hilarious.
"but you don't like dark chocolate do you andy? you say it has a bitter edge, and lacks the aural ecstacy of its milkier cousin..."
"yeah i know. i want that one."
"okaaay..."
"i dont like it."
apparantly lou and andy are loosely based on lou reed and andy warhol. you can see the similarities when you search for them. the lou-like wavy locks and those glasses, for instance...
i love the character of vicky pollard too. oh and dafydd...the only gay in the village! also marjorie (the fat fighter!) and emily howard (but i'm a lady! you know...ladies things!). and lets not forget anne. (EH EH EEEEEEEEH!)
gold.

My brother and I had great japes during one of the episodes, because they kept using sexual terms that my parents don't know, so we kept saying them and they had no idea.
That doesn't actually sound very funny, does it?

Little Britain to get 'The Simpsons' treatment
January 20, 2005, 12:16:56
The Simpsons
'The Simpsons' creator Matt Groening has revealed he wants to make an episode of the animated show featuring all the characters from 'Little Britain'.
The show's creator admits he is a huge fan of the outrageous sketch show, starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, and would love them to provide cameos for the programme.
He said: "I love 'Little Britain'. I love it - especially that schoolgirl. I don't know the names of all the characters but I love the whole thing.

Little Britain stars set for The Simpsons
'The Simpsons' creator Matt Groening wants to introduce a host of British characters to the cartoon and the stars from BBC comedy 'Little Britain' are top of the list.
If the plan comes off, Daffyd, "the only gay in the village", and teenager Vicky Pollard could be seen in an episode.
"I love the show. It's really funny and exciting and it would be great fun to get them on The Simpsons. They're already like cartoon characters," the Sun reports Groening as saying.
David Walliams, who writes 'Little Britain' with Matt Lucas, said: "He is a man of great taste."
Groening added: "We've had talks about having the Beckhams in it and I'd also like to get Eddie Izzard on the show."

Yep. I watch it and I absolutely love it. It's freakin' hilarious. And even though I'm from Denmark I find it very funny. Maybe it's cause the british and danish sense of humor is very similar....? Not sure though...I may just be the only one in DK who think it's funny

Balls, you just stole the quote I was going to use as an example of how hilarious the show can be when Lucas and Walliams are really trying. ""but you don't like dark chocolate do you andy? you say it has a bitter edge, and lacks the aural ecstacy of its milkier cousin" is such a great line just because you ccan never imagine Andy saying it.
And you stole my trivia about Reed and Warhol too: curse you.
Little Britian is good when it wants to be, but the 2nd series showed waaaay too much reusing of ideas and the only recuirring characters who really didn't outstay their welcome were Lou and Andy for me. I guess it's just that the whole joke is based on the repetition and the crsushing inevitable outcome really.
