I read some of Mary Robinson's Lyrical Tales earlier, and didn't really enjoy them.  I must read The Prelude by Wordsworth and The Wanderer by Frances Burney (often, I think, shortened to Fanny Burney.  This might be immature, but pahahaha) over the holiday
,

No, I did that when I had to study..Evelina I think it was.

but will probably end up reading a book of Alan Partridge scripts instead.

Do you have that? Pfft..I think I'd have went for it if it had The Day Today and On the Hour segments in too. Every Ruddy Word my twat.

Also read this morning: The Observer, which had a 2004 TV quiz in which my friend and I did embarrassingly well
.

Your friend sounds like a loser.

Sorry, I just have been reading over all your old posts instead of essaying.

Good call! Which one are you reading? Or are you working through them all?

You know they're making the a full-length film of the Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe? Details are here

They're going to film every story too, in a sort of ongoing Lord of the rngs/Harry Potter type scenario

This:
QUOTE
Singer/songwiter Amy Lee of the popular band "Evanescence", who is contributing to the soundtrack of this film, was offered a cameo appearance. In response, Lee eagerly requested that she play a character who gets killed.

is slightly disconcerting though.

Was that the BBC one? They filmed most of the series I believe. There was also some godawful 'The Lion, The Witch..' animated film as well.

I really liked the original live action one to be honest, it had a great charm to it. I think they could potentially do a great remake though with CGI and all that. And I say that as aperson who usually detests CGI.

No...my father didn't order it, for some unknown reason, so it didn't appear in my stocking as planned. It'd still be great reading without TDT and OTH.

Yeah...he just came down to vomit chicken skins into my toilet, I think.

I loved the BBC adaptation of The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe when I was younger, but then I rewatched them a few years ago and realised they were hilarious. Lucy, particularly.

I'm currently reading Powder by Kevin Sampson (I think that's his name, anyway). It's a very readable account of a (fictional) band who are trying to, and do indeed, 'make it'.

I don't like to read actual books but I have to read them for AR...which is a crapalicious system where you ahve to read books for points and you have to pass a certain goal or else you fail er sumthin if none of you have heard of it........I read manga though.....which is japanese comic books.....I love them....they're so corny......
nervous in the alley
i thought the train thing in the series of unfortunate etc. movie was really lame. and they switched up the order of some of the things, ie. the wedding happened at the end of the first book.
but whatever.
jude law's voice was the basis of the movie's appeal, anyways.
GrapeFruit
i read some books of nick hornby, they are really great, funny and all. you have to read douglas adams. he's the best. i've never read anything that fast before. try it.

3. The ending was not the ending of the third book. It was the ending of the first
4. Klaus was taller than Violet in the movie.
5. Violet's ribbon is black in the movie, not yellow.
