Well, there were two so-called Vines Projects organized here on this board, the first by Allie and the other by Melinda (a long time ago...)
Actually, the idea of writing to them was mine... it was more of a wishful thinking on my part, but people responded enthusiastically, and Allie took it on herself to organize the whole undertaking, i.e. to collect the things we wrote and made (letters, poems, artwork and the like), to bind the stuff into a book and then to send it the guys
And, to our great amazement, they responded! They had themselves photographed with the book and sent Allie the pics, which she then posted on the forum
Oh, it was so thrilling!
And then again Melinda (Endanger) organized another Vines project for people who joined the board too late to take part in the first one, and of course for anyone else who wanted to contribute

I took part in both (I was such an inverterate Craig Nicholls-Obsessed Crazy Maniac in those days )
And, well... I wrote letters and some poems and... one of those was an acrostic made up of Vines lyrics

it spelled CraigLovesRyan

I've wondered ever since if they... noticed that

I can't remember much, but we (I was Thom ) were at a meeting at Jonny's house with the whole band + The Greenwood family. Jon and Coz' family were just walking around in the house and the band was standing side by side, listening to something Jonny had to say. But Thom was sitting on a chair in front of Colin, rubbing his elbow against Colins.. trousers But Colin just ignored it, as his brother was right there.

Then I remember walking in Jonny's entrance hall, talking to Colin who was now mad and fighting with Thom
