i know it's already been posted but doesn't hurt posting it twice!!
Being a musician as well, I don't try to be nice unless it really is, but I do try to be perfectly honest (for just the music):
The song has a very Nirvana "feel" to it which sounds pretty good actually, but you sing too low for the range your voice has.
If I had to be like some really mean members on UG I'd say "It sounds like your balls just dropped yesterday mate" but to be constructive I would advise you to play the song with a capo on the 2nd fret and sing slightly higher; rather than to sing the whole thing a whole octave higher ---> It would ruin this low-voice Nirvana feel to it.
Other than that, keep rockin!

EDIT: Also, try to hold your guitar pick like below (the best way). It will be hard to play for the first week but then you will realize you have much more control over the strings you play and your speed (speed is longer term). This will also reduce "rik-cling rik-cling" strumming noise.
^ Notice the index finger pointing out slightly at the bottom of the photo; this gives you the idea how to "curve" your index finger behind the pick.
EDIT 2: Damn I just reread what I wrote above again after a few hours - sorry for sounding so stuck up!
