I don't often like the style they play/similar bands to them, but I like them.

Today I've listened to 1977 so much and that makes me set up this thread.

so anyone else like them too?

Yeah 1977 was really good but that's the only album I listen to by them.

in fact, like many bands who play that kind of music, their songs sound similar without deep impression... so the other albums by them are quite the same, though the newer ones seem harder and noisier a bit... I like 1977 best, and secondly Free All Angels.

I know I will get out of them quite soon, but right now their music is stuck in my head

"Candy" is such a good song.

I hate Candy! I would really rather smell an old-man's urine-soaked pants than listen to Candy.

I like Uncle Pat, but other than that, I have little interest in Ash.

But I have to say, Ash is sentimental to me - I still love 'Girl from Mars'.
