I listened to my cassette that had Frogstomp on one side, and Dookie (Greenday) on the other. Have had that little cassette since 1994 when i mate gave it to me in grade 12.

Have to say, Frogstomp, having heard it for the first time since 1996 i'd say... is perhaps, well in my opinion that last TRUE GRUNGE album. It fits in with everything that Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden & Alice in Chains had done.

Songs like Faultline, Pure Massacre, Israel's son, Tomorow really brought out the energy and sound today's music lacks...well maybe Muse delivered it in albums like Showbiz and Origin of Symmetery.

I don't think Frogstomp is that good. I mean it's good considering it was made by three 15 year olds but their other, later stuff is much better.

uhm... I really dont think so. Silverchairs in one of my Aus fav bands.

i love silverchair, but i fucking hate 'Frogstomp'. i only like 'Tomorrow' and thats it. i hate grunge.

i only have their best of cd so i wouldnt call myself their biggest fan but the songs on there are really good. but i really dont like some of the diorama songs like Across the night etc etc.
but i think silverchair are good.

i read this thing about how they sucked and they were pretedning they were nirvana and aussies believed they were nirvana in a way..
and then i realised that they really do look like nirvana. they dont really sound the same but they look vbery very similar its quite weird

their best album was 'neon ballroom'. 'freak show' was really good too..diorama kind of disappointed me. some songs were good, but it's just not silverchair. however i absolutely love 'across the night'. thats one of my favourite songs on that album.

i want them to come out with another album..why do they always constantly have to take breaks? and i fucking hate the dissociatives..oh daniel johns, you've let us down.

They have to keep taking breaks because Daniel has arthritis and he obviously can't play guitar if he is in pain....either that or he wants more time with his lovely Natalie.

didnt his arthritis cure?..and he is in the disocitaives so he's not exactly taking a break, so i think his arthritis is fine...as for nathalie, i think she's hot.
