Everyone keeps saying how the Vines database with the Demos etc. is not up anymore, but there still are links to hear all the stuff it seems. I tried downloading stuff and i thought i did (right clicked and clicked "save target as")....but when i tried listening to them on this shitty dialup connection my mom has at home (one of the VERY annoying things about being at home) it became obvious that i still need to be connected to a website in order to hear them. it's weird cause i thought i downlaoded them so i didn't need an internet connection
maybe my major computer retardation is just taking over me, but is there a way i can make the files so i can hear them without an internet connection?

The files on the database are ram files that you have to be connected to the net to hear. To hear the songs off the net you need to be able to transform the songs into mp3s. I use Streambox. You can download it here.

Don't know if it'll work though, but give it a go. If you type "ram to mp3" into the search bar of yahoo or some other search site you should be able to find some programs. Good luck .

I dunno, I've never used that program before. Give it a go I suppose. I'm uploading some of the mp3 files I converted now (from the land, Give Up, Take a Sunday, and some of the a sharp sessions). I'll post them when they've finished uploading. It might take a while cause my internets really slow at the moment (I went over my download limit ).

Yeah I used streambox. I had no idea what I was doing either, I figured it out by searching ram files and finding out what they were then searching how to convert them to mp3s. Streambox came up and I decided to download it even though I had no idea what I was doing - I wanted those mp3s! .

Anyhow here 5 mp3s, I can't upload anymore cause I don't have anymore web space.
