Hey, this is the first topic I have ever created so be nice. Well there's this great band called the Shout Out Louds. There simply has to be a topic about them so...

some songs are nice, other rather dull.

I think they're great, I saw them ageessss ago (last last Feb) opening for the Futureheads and have loved them ever since. Catchy and Swedish mmm. Also moog girl is adorable.

I actually like all of them now. But yeah a few of them had to grow on me. My favourites are at the moment "Please, Please, Please" "Oh, Sweetheart" and "A Track and a Train"



ooooooh cool. I was going to fly down to Sydney to see them when they were here early this month but the venues were 18+ . I love their sound it's very unique.

Yeah me too but then again I really parts of The Comeback video...like when you can see the different rooms and the bands in one corner and the office people are at the bottom. That looks wicked.

i saw rage on saturday too!!! so awesome!

we were really luck and were able to meet the guy safter the show since it was a small venue and we helped them look for an ear piece they'd lost
they are sooo cute!!! and nice!!!

oh you saw them live AND got to meet them!! That's so cool. The chick is so awesome. The stuff she wears is just amazing and she is heaps pretty. That is wicked that they are cute and nice in person too coz loved them on rage. It's a shame that only two of them were there but Adam and Karl were so polite and nice and cute as. After watching I wanted a Swedish accent it just sounds so good. Where was your show? I tried to go to the Sydney one but it would've been too expensive with the airfare and everything and my parents said that I had to choose between them and The Strokes coz I couldn't go to both so of course I had to go with ze strokes.

A friend and i saw them in melbourne, we actually went to see the panics, coz i went to school with the guys from the band, and so when the shout out louds came on we were sorta standing up the back talking, but after the first song we were like "holy shit!!! we have to get up the front!" they were so AMAZING!!!
so yea, we were planning on just chilling out the back while they were on and we just had to push our way to the front and actually SEE them!
and yea, it was afterwards my friend and i went to the bathroom and we saw teh chick and we were like telling her how much we loved the show and her clothes and everything (we were totally jealous! shes gorgeus tallented and like . . just so nice!) and on our way back down stairs we saw the gys so we jsut sorta said hi and we loved their set and went down to the bar
and yea, we were leaving and they were outside looknig for an earpiece so we offered to help them look, and chatted to them and yea, was kinda funny since the guy lost it like hours ago, but he was convinced we'd be able to find it outside the club and yea i dunno ive never been so impressed by some band id never heard of

"It is funny about Australia. Originally our purpose of going there, besides playing music and all, was merely to find out whether that whole business with the water spinning in the opposite direction on it’s way down the drain was true or not. But when we finally got there we realized that none of us had even the faintest idea of which way the water spins in Sweden, and so we found ourselves compelled to try and remember which way the water spins in Australia so that we could make the comparison once we were back in Europe. Oh thanks for those. I've only seen the one with albie. The story of how I got into the Shouts is really boring actually. I wish I had a cool story about it but anywho. I was reading this interview with Nick and Albie and one of the questions was something like what bands do you like and the beautiful Albert who I am forever indebted to said "If I had a record label I'd sign the Shout Out Louds." So I went and downloaded But Then Again No, Hurry Up Lets Go, Shut Your Eyes and The Comeback and absolutely loved them to bits and the love grew.

I had no idea The Strokes toured with the Shouts until I got my ass over to the site and was browsing the pics. I freaked out!!!!That would be the show of my dreams! Oh btw I'm sorry for my late reply, I was in Adelaide (FOR A COLDPLAY CONCERT-IT WAS AMAZING) and havent been on the net for a week.

Am I the only one who really really really wants a Shout Out Louds top. They are so funky I'm tempted to splurge and buy them but I must control myself.

itd be easier if anywhere here sold them, they didnt actually have like any at teh concert we went to, although, we went looking for shirts after the concert so they had prolly sold out

and your right, there could never be enough hotness, but im sure id have an overload if it ever happend i dont think i'd be used to having that many hot people around!
