Songs that later appeared on albums (aka 'Sunchild') are not included, nor are b-sides that were simply live songs or the 'Don't Listen...' instrumental that backed the limited edition oz single (since so few have heard it). Down at the Club for sure because I love Ms Jackson and I'm Only Sleeping but they are covers so I'd like to vote for a Vines original song and so that's the best demo I think.

for me it was between 'giveX3', 'watch the world,' and 'don't go.'

in the end, i 'giveX3' a smidgen more than the others.

Ahhhh yes that's true. I heard the Vines version first and then when I heard the original i was like it was so bad especially in comparison with beautiful Vines version.

aw, you guys, i like the outkast version too! what's cool about the vines cover is that most cover songs are paint-by-numbers of the original, but craig took the original and really made it his own, unique song.

Yeah that's really awesome. I was expecting the Outkast version to be really similar to the cover but it was completely different. Maybe I'd like it if I heard it before The Vines cover It's just so much better in my opinion.

I went with Give Up Give Out Give In - thought I hadn't heard it before but in fact realised it was a song which I referred to as Softspoken cos I never knew the title - but I also love Hot Leather. It's just so raw sounding and awesome.
