Im not quite sure what i have to do. I know they have a link on the vines website for vines avatars but im not sure what i have to do to use one.

I have a site with Vines avatars - the link is in my sig. If you want to use one of those just right click the av that you want, select "properties" then copy the URL that comes up in the little window.
Also there's a thread here with avatars from Vision Valley, the links are written out underneath each graphic, here's the link:
