So what does everyone think of them? They surprised the hell out of me let me tell you.
Mind's eye, White Unicorn and Joker & the Theif are high up on my current most listened to list.

Yep, I love em . They're awesome live, I saw them at Falls and BDO - great both times . Usually when I get an album I can listen to it heaps of times before I get sick of it, but with this one... not so much. Only a few plays before I had to take it out of my stereo. Their songs start to sound too similar after a while - it's one of those CDs that's great to listen to every now and then, but not one that I can listen to say... every week. Good album though, I just find that I can't listen to it as much as a lot of the other albums I've bought. I don't know if that makes much sense, but there you go .

I feel like that too. I heard them on Channel V singing Apple Tree and I thought it was awesome so i bought the single that was out at the time. It took me ages to get around to listening to it but one day i came home and was really hyped up and chucked it on and was dancing all crazy. When I bought the album I liked some songs but yeah like you said I got sick of listening to them. To me they don't sound the same but they get annoying if i'm not in the mood to listen.

I like vagabond and tales from the forest of the gnomes(just coz of the name)

also EP versions were way beter than the album versions

i like them. i was supose to watch them at the bdo this year, but unfortunately missed them. i always manage to miss all the best bands when i go to big events like that. damn.

yeah yeah, they were on the nz part of the tour, i remember one of my friends told me she saw them wandering around in the crowds. i was very jealous.

Yes, I'd have to agree. They are great. The lead singer can play some hard riffs and sing altogether! His voice reminds me of Robert Plant too.

Wolfmother are awesome! My second fav band after The Vines I love their song "Woman" but lately I've been hearing a really bad re-mix of it...it makes me sad, because they are wrecking the original song! Anyways, I might be possibly going to see them...not 100% sure though. I WANT TO!

I bought their EP about a year ago, and then saw them at this years Big Day Out, they are quite good but like Robert Plant, Andrews voice annoys me after a while. Anyone going to splendour that doesn't already know, Wolfmother will be playing there. I think they have "broken the mainstream" I hear Woman on the local pop music radio station on the bus to school nearly everyday.

I know what you mean, his voice doesn't change much, it stays the same for the entire album, so it can get on your nerves after a bit. I know they've broken the mainstream now, but I still love 'em. I'd love to see them live someday. Hopefully Jane will take me.

wolfmother have really hit it off i remember when they first came out with their ep and they were this little band now people from overseas know them and everything!
