Is Vision Valley better or worse than Highly Evolved and Winning Days?

Vision Valley is better than Winning Days... However, for me, it's hard to decide between Vision Valley and Highly Evolved, to be honest... Highly Evolved had more guitar solos, however, Vision Valley is just... awesome... I don't know.

They all have something wonderful and amazing to offer.

I haven't bought the album yet...I don't know if I will soon or not. I have money, but I am buying other things at the moment and I get really stressed when I spend my money. I'm a freak. I need to know your opinions!

worse than highly evolved and i think a little bit better than winning days. but i also think that winning days is a very very very good and awesome record. so all in all their work is just great.

Ask me in a month when Im not hearing NEW Vines songs; when Ive heard all of the songs enough.
Just so I dont say OMG WAAAY BETTER, just because theyre new and that its exciting.

HE happens to be my favourite album that been released since '95. Vision Valley is pretty good tho. Still not HE. not as much depth

I voted worse for both. That dosen't mean that I think it's a bad cd, I just think that they could have done better and have done better in the past. I still love it and it will probally be one of my favorite cds of the year, and out of the three cds that came out on tuesday that I got, The Flaming Lips-At War With The Mystics, aThe Vines- Vision Valley, and Morrissey-Ringleader Of THe Tormenters, it is the best. It just does not capture the uniqueness of Winning Days or the disspondancy of Highley Evolved.

I think It's not as good as Highly Evolved (I was dissappointed in it for this reason at first, but then realized that to me, nothing really can compare to HE....!) and ties with Winning Days. I put worse just cuz I couldnt put equal. I reallly love it, its just not as good - which really is quite good. I mean, to say not quite as good as HE or WD is really a compliment, if you get what I mean. They're hard acts to follow. If I have any complaints it would be that it is alot more sad, and a bit more.. I don't know, wanting to say flatter, as in not as high highs and not quite as deep. Really bad way to put it but its hard to explain. But I can see its not all sad, theres bits of hope in there- and some songs really stood out to me, Take Me Back and Spaceship in particular. And it takes me a few listens of each song for them to sink in and sort out in my mind, so my opinion could change in awhile..

I dont like Vision Valley, it lacks all the creativity of Highly Evolved.

it lacks all the melody of winning days, and I dont really like winning days that much.

vision valley to me, is one long track with little change.

the fast songs sound mostly the same, with the exception of some, the slow songs all sound the same.

Had the demos for winning days been winning days, i might've been more optimistic of the release of vision valley, but I didn't expect much so I'm not dissapointed.

I have no clue why but I just can't like this album. =/ I've listened to it once(with the exception of Take Me Back on repeat a few times 'cos it's the best song on VV), and I haven't really touched it since.

I listened to it with way too high of an expectation.

I'd say Vision Valley is better than Highly Evolved, but not as good at Winning Days.

in my opinion:

Vision Valley>Highly evolved>Winning days

Vision Valley is quite a lot better then Winning Days...but Highly Evolved has so many hits...
