i just find his voice boring, the only title of a song i can remember is that irish blood, english heart (mite be the wrong way round) and a few others but i dont know the titles.

Well, you are, because you're refusing to what I have to say about them. Seriously, The Smiths are one of the best bands of all time. I don't think it's possible not to like them. And if anyone doesn't, I'm willing to consider that there's something wrong with them.
