I'll hazard a guess that you've heard Irish Blood, English Heart and First Of The Gang To Die by Morrissey. I cannot see how anyone could dislike IB,EH, and, more to the point, Morrissey has hundreds of first-class songs, so I'm not too sure how you can say he's 'shit' from having heard a maximum of four songs.
