avery, here in the states you can pick up copies of NME at Borders and Barnes & Nobles. our issues are usually a week or two behind, so call the store in advance and check to see if they have the April 1 issue with SXSW on the cover.
i was looking through NME today in sainsburys, and once i saw the vines i fell over.

thank god, that means then that the next issue comes out next friday? So i can get the april 1st issue sometime this week before then right?

it probably won't be in our stores until this week OR next - like i said, call first and if they have a copy, get them to hold it for you. that's what i do anyway.
I really like the end of that interview. I think it leaves the reader with a lot of hope for the guys. It had a bit of a "and they all went home and had a nice cup of tea

did you get your copy yet? Borders doesnt have it and neither does Barnes N Noble

nope, not yet. new magazines don't get put out at our barnes & noble until thursdays (tomorrow), and that particular issue is set to be the next one.
do your stores carry NME at all or did they just not have it in when you went by? you may want to call and check.
