oh my god. i actually teared up a time or two - especially when they were talking about falling apart but then fighting to keep the band together as a threesome. they all sound like they're in such a good place and good frame of mind, how can anyone not root for them to make the comeback they deserve?

in addition to hearing craig's take on the time they've been away, there are so many awesome hamish and *gasp* ryan quotes! it's nice to see the vines talked about as a band for a change, instead of just craig - even if he is the visionary and driving force behind them. he certainly needs them for support.

Yes you are hardcore. I almost can't see now from squinting ...I kinda enlarged it a little and it just got larger and more blurry. It was either that or tiny and a bit more clear.

Anyway, very nice article ...He did a great job with that. I must read it again though. Cause I think that I was struggling a few times and couldn't even read all the words!

Wow...I must sound like a total cheeseball, but that really was the best article I've ever read. The ending was awesome, and I liked the bit where he talked about the album art. Just....wow...I'm totally gonna try to buy a copy!

I don't know about any of you but this interview made me a little sad. Hearing about Craig being med sedated and not smiling much made my heart ache.

I have been thinking the same thing! Everyone seems to believe that he's a lot happier now and stuff, but I haven't been too sure. He just seems really mellow and dull and tired. It depressed me to see the track by track because he barely talked and he looked really....I don't know...the med thing depressed me too. It's just weird because he seems really different. I hope he's happier though, even if he doesn't really seem it to me.

I sure do hope so too.

It actually made me feel less sad than some of the other ones. I mean, its really sad that he doesnt seem that happy, but it also seems like he's through the worst and he's got alot of people looking out for him. aw, and he's got us

Hmm...he definately seems different. But he was so high strung before and he seemed to have tons of anxiety and would just break down and what not. Even though at times he seemed all happy and goofy. It does seem kinda sad he's sedated by meds...but...hmm maybe he really needs something to calm him down a little? I doubt the doctors would have given him something like that unless he was having trouble without it. I'm sure everyone is trying their best to help him, even if it means putting him on meds. But above all I just hope he's happier. Even if he seems kinda tired and out of it. Also I think he was probably stressed about the article and that's why Paul said that when he tried to smile he tensed up so it was more a wince than a smile.

All we can do is hope he's happy

the old craig was goofier and less-focused. notice, craig actually answers questions more thoughtfully these days instead of making up stories (okay lies ) and cracking jokes to avoid answering the question. i'm sure the interest in his AS is tiring/intimidating for him to deal with, but he is taking it on instead of issueing 'no comments' which was certainly his perogrative to do.

if the meds are needed to help him on his path to living and coping with AS - and they're including that in pieces so we will be aware of and sensitive to it - i hope they do they job.
