I got "Vision Valley" today; and it's awesome. It runs at 31:34. How'd I get it? My college radio station got it in the mail; but they can't play mainstream CDs. So I asked what they'll do with it. The station manager asked if I wanted it.

How could I refuse?

It rocks so hard!!! "Anysound" is a great opening track, "Going Gone" is quite beautiful, "Dope Train" is mosh-worthy, and "Spaceship" is very Pink Floyd. Love it , love it , love it ! You guys are in for a thrill ride!

I wish I could do that... but I live in China where there is no chance to buy a fricken real version... I will have to buy a copy, I could right now, my friend told me it's out already... I wanna hear it but I feel bad not contributing to the band's effort. I could think "oh well it's only me" but that's what everyone who buys fakes thinks right?

Yep, probably one of those pretentious little stations where every song played has to be by a band no-one's heard of . I mean it's good giving a whole lot of bands airplay who wouldn't normally get it - but ignoring all other music?

Actually we play local music and bands that really haven't made it to mainstream like NOFX, Young Canadians, and Guitar Wolf; and also bands that feature bandmembers that have hit it big like Josh Homme's Kyuss (whose now QOTSA). I'm also putting together a show that'll play bands mostly from Japan like Electric Eel Shock, the pillows, Gito Gito Hustler, and Ellegarden (who may make it big because they do most of their songs in perfect English).

It's a rule from the college that wer can't play mainstream music becuasse we're supposed to "educate" people on other acts that are actually quite cool.

And yes, there are some cool pictures in the album.

Oh man! That's unequable! In Germany the Album comes until at 7th out >.< (Is this sentence in correct english? ) and I heard only a cantle *cry* 10 days..

LMFAO sounds like your college radio is a pretentious piece of shit, they just play music to keep up an image.

NOFX may be on a indie label but heaps of people know of them and they regularly chart in America, and here in this country even (Australia), their last CD charted in the top 30. Oh and don't let me forget to mention how many people know of Kyuss aswell cause of QOTSA.

Thank god there are radio open minded radio stations like Triple J.

But i do find sometimes when a band becomes too mainstream, they drop them from playlists on triple J
