Well, it happened. I've been reading that people have downloaded it and that it's meant to be the best album The Vines have ever brought out.

it's amazing that they made it this far without it being leaked, but promos for reviews had to go out sometime.

hopefully the people claiming it's their best album EVER are right!

Also, "Nothing's comin'" is the best track. Easily.

i'm noticing eveyone has a different 'best track.' i take that as a good sign that so many songs are liked that much.

There's a website I know of who were sending it out and I sent the guy a PM telling him Capitol will trace his IP if he sends it out so that's sorted out now. Theres a torrent here where heaps are downloading

i alerted capitol to that particular site yesterday...don't know why they haven't taken care of it.

They wouldn't want to wait too much longer.

so as a musician dan, you're cool with making a record and everyone downloading it for free off the net? i'm being serious, not sarcastic. things are going to have to change to accomodate the proliferation of downloading, but there's still got to be a way you musicians get paid for your art too. at least enough to make a living out of it.

I hate that it's taking revenue away from the band.

I'm still pissed off it's still availabe. So much for this 'copy control' shit. So media outlets uploaded it, but us fans who pay $$ for it won't even be able to put it on our mp3 players.

You can still download the album and buy it.. i don't think companies really care about all the people that download it just the people that leak it.

Think about it .. if you stop the usual people who leak.. then it wont leak for at least a while longer.

And also in Australia to date i have never ever ever heard of ANYONE getting sued for downloading music.
