the 'don't listen to the radio' cd single is set to be released april 8 in australia. as for the video, i'm not sure. they just shot it week before last, and this teaser came as a surprise. let's hope it's sooner than later then.

I don't really see how the video could really hurt their album sales. I mean, it's not offensive or controversial or anything like that. But we gotta hope it gets played. But I doubt it'll have trouble there. If a website has a teaser for it then, in my opinion, it must be a pretty big deal.

Yeah i really don't think it will hurt them at all. All i meant by hurt or harm is that do you think that the video is creative enough as some of the other videos out there. I mean it is kinda a weird question i guess. The video is in black and white with the band rocking out, which i love. But could they sell more singles with a more creative video? Or will people just wanna hear the amazing songs?

Hmm...I dunno. I think the black and white itself is pretty creative. It's simple. It lets the music provide all of the rest of everything else that over-stimulating the viewer with colors and pictures and stuff usually provides. The music takes the place of the extra 'bells and whistles' and stuff that really, in their case, isn't necessary.

I think it's also a good way to be re-introduced to everyone again. Being too showy and crazy might give the wrong impression. I think the video is kinda humble. I dunno.

I just think this video is ideal for their comeback. I dunno if that made sense. I rarely do.

I used Snagit 8 to capture the vids as .avi videos. Another program that's good for ripping vids off the net is Streambox .

haha I watched it a few more times... I LOVE his hair like that! Seriously, I think that's as long as he's had it...the way it's combed or styled or whatever really looks very nice o him. The video itself seems pretty cool. Performance videos are always good to me, it's nice to see the band in action, you know? And this one doesn't seem boring, I like the overhead shot so much . And the black and white makes it look unique and sophicaticated actually. At first I was like...oh wow, black and white again. Then I realized that I really do like that. When I do my own photos in the dark room, I prefer to do black and white, I just like the way it looks

Dark rooms are creepy. And my eyes get all weird and I see spots and it's unpleasant. Unless someone's there for you to talk to while in the complete darkness it's not that fun. I dunno, maybe my darkrooms just suck.

Yes. I haven't worked in the darkroom since last July though . I'm not that good at it but I've done a few classes in it. I just know how to do black and white...that's what I like anyway, so I never bothered to learn color. I could spend hours in there perfecting a photo. I also do my own lighting and focus settings on my camera when I'm taking these 'art' type photos...so you can get the depth of field you want, etc. My photos are at home though

Usually I just whip out my digi cam when I'm taking pics of friends of course

LockedInAFreezer...how can you hate darkrooms so much? there are safe lights. Well the REALLY dark room where you put your film on the reel kinda sucks cause I would always walk into things cause it has to be purely dark.
