I hate this commercial that is always on MTV2 for Victory Records. In the beginning it plays TBS's "A Decade Under the Influence" then it switches into Hawthorne Heights' "Ohio Is For Lovers' "AND I CAN'T MAKE IT ON MY OWN/ COS MY HEART IS IN OHHHHHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOO/SO CUT MY WRISTS AND BLACK MY EYES!"

And if you aren't looking at the TV but just listening to it from the computer it sounds like they are only advertising one band because they sound almost exactly the same. Sometimes they play it twice in a row, which is even more annoying.

What commercials do you find annoying?

HAHAHA! When I first saw that commercial, I didn't even notice they were talking about two different bands. When it suddenly swithces to Hawthorne Heights, it SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE THE LAST ONE.

Once the commercial came on, and I muttered out loud, "God I hate both of those bands." To which my dad replies to, "Those were two different bands?????"

That's what my brother and several of my friends have said. He was shocked to find out there were two of them.

old navy clothing store i hate how they get the clean cut all american teen and kids and make them sing about how you need to buy so many presents, in a happy go lucky way
then they make like 20 commercials of the same singing style

Hawthorne Heights most of my friends listen to that music it gets pretty weird when you cant talk about something you like but i think im breaking through to them with franz ferdinand they seem a little interested

I hate those digital HP photos commercials with all the effects, too. It just freaks me out when the pictures become their faces!

Old Navy's a white people's store (don't convince me otherwise, there may be minorities in there, but they're working, not customers, the only people I've seen there that actually buy anything are white folk), and as a corporation run by white people, they're not very genuine.

Since persuasion isn't a very strong trait, if it even exists, their next resort is just shoving the products in your face without a very good reason for getting them, all while having them at unreasonable prices.

they ruined all the beatles and led zeppelin songs....oh the verves got their song ruined too....damn shoe and car ads.

the ones with the kinks "picture book" playing? i love those commercials. but um i hate all the drug commercials. its like watching a pharmacy on tv sometimes.

they muss them up so bad...getting a new cruddy robert plant wannabee. Luckily, I don't think they'll ever rip my favourite beatles song, the "And we'll all shine on"...John sings it...and I love when he gets excited and yells. *blushes*

HP is way cool! They used the Cure in a respectable way to advertise...

Also that shampoo commercial where the girl and guy are practically having sex among this long red ribbon - it's shampoo! Now there's a condom commercial that is almost completely asexual...the way advertising is so screwed cracks me up sometimes. I also hate those herbal essences orgasm commercials. GAAH so annoying.

Anything featuring Jared (the subway guy) or Oven Mitt (arby's) makes me want to put those awful mascots out of their misery.

Agh, i hate infomercials. In korea they play commercials for about fifteen minutes at a time and it will be the same commercial over and over and over. But it still beats a commercial every five minutes cause they are far apart.

There's an advert for a 60s music compilation at the moment, and several clips of songs are played during it, one of which is Kylie Minogue singing Locomotion, which I'm pretty sure didn't happen until the 80s. What is it doing on a 60s CD? GRRR.

Every commercial including a scarily thin, dead-looking female(though male would be even worse) model disturbs me. And the Echo-commercial, with that awfully scary man(all my female friends like him, but he disturbs me more than any man I've even seen. Except maybe Woody Allen).

commercials suck... but there is nothing worse than watching commercials on a musicchannel. I dont want to hear that some annoying song every 5 seconds played inclusive that horrible ringtone and someone telling me (yelling at me) "The NEW HITSINGLE!!! Get it ONLY HERE!! 556655!!! Write nokia for nokia mobiles (...), write poli for a poliphone ring tone!!!(...)" GAH! NO! And they show it 3 times in a row! The same fuckin thing! And I dont want a drunken reindeer singing christmas songs either!
