i have been listening to shit music for at least hour hoping to hear it..... My soul is destroyed forever....

Even though it's so hard to stream (aparently you must endure lots of shitty music ) the forum rules don't allow "leaks" that include rips of songs that will be on the album. I guess we are very defensive of the boys and are worried about anything affecting record sales. We just don't want it posted on this forum. You may do what you like... just please don't actually post it 'publicly' on this forum.

What you do is none of our business though... I don't endorse sharing it, but do whatever you want as long as it's not posted in a thread here.

Yeah i understand perfectly personally i will definitely be purchasing a copy of Vision Valley as i currently own both of the Vines albums (legally) and all bands that are good in my opinion i buy such as Nirvana, Vines, Audioslave, etc etc... But i guess some other people may not purchase it so i can see where you are comming from.

Just thought it would be nice for the other people so they don't have to endure the pain of the shitty music haha but i see where you are comming from plus its a breach of the rules!!

for those of you who haven't heard it, i want to stress again that you don't listen to the song straight thru as it will sound on the cd. the site breaks the song up into three segments, which i'm sure is their way of testing the songs for the record label without making it rippable for the net.

I just heard it I think it's real good. I love how they are doing new styles. "Don't Listen..." sounds very much like their stuff before (which I LOVE) but "Gross Out" and "Anysound" are different...and I love it!

have they traded out songs? tonight seems to be a different selection of artists, and i only heard 'anysound' twice. aww, well, it was enough to whet my appetite for more, and it'll be cool to eventually hear it straight thru.

It's not my favorite to be completely honest. I like the energy of it and the vocals. Other than that though I wasn't too excited about it.

Yeah, from what i heard of it, the little that i heard, i would have to say i feel like you about it. Its the "energy" that i liked about it more then lets say...the melody...
I do have to hear it again tho. In fact, i can't even remember how it went!

It'll grow on me I'm sure. It was just a bit... I don't know. I didn't really like the lyrics (the ones I could make out ) and it didn't have that awesome melodic quality that most Vines songs have. It was just all energy and no structure. Though, I bet we'll be able to hear more structure to it when we actually get to hear the whole song straight through. And it might sound better as kind of an intro to the album, if that makes any sense.

From the new tracks I've heard, I noticed some of the lyrics are harder to decipher than HE's and WD's.

i was a bit thrown off the first time thru because it did come off so jumbled with the random breaks and not knowing the proper order of the verses. but the chorus is pretty catchy for one that ends 'kill me now i'm dead.'

craig said these songs were darker...his voice definitely has an angrier edge that's nothing to do with trying to cop kurt cobain but singing from the heart.
