I was just wondering if anybody knew what distortion pedal craig uses i can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Also has there been any word on what gear he used to record the new album?

you don't need much distortion to play Craigs guitar, it's all in his tuning and equalization.

He's usually in standard tuning i know that but yes he uses a distortion pedal bc he plays out of a marshall plexi and those amps stay pretty clean even at loud volumes.

I remember reading in some interview that he uses a metal distortion pedal. but ya.. craig is never in a specific tune. he just has it equalized.

*nod* I don't blame him... I wouldn't want to waste time trying to get it perfectly in a certain tuning. Just as long as it's equal. And he does use some distortion, I would think, if you think about Landslide and Animal Machine... and, he does have a pedal... if you want the Sessions with AOL interview, he says what kind of pedal he uses, I believe.

he uses a boss metal zone. its in an issue of guitar one.
