Hi Lizzy

Apologies for taking so long getting back to you, this is all fantastic. The new skin on the Forum looks amazing, I dips me lid to you, and thanks so much for doing it.

We have indeed rustled up some swag for all the fine work everyone has been doing. I have to say, the ideas are really good, and the effort everyone is going to with their signatures and banners is a joy to behold. At the moment we’ve got a signed vinyl copy of Winning Days, a signed 7” of Fuck The World, a copy of the very fist demo that was given out free on the You Am I tour before they recorded Highly Evolved. I also had a nice empty can of Vodka and Soda that Ryan drank during some filming the other day, but our office cleaner threw it out , and I suspect that is actually a fairly crap prize.

We’ll get some more stuff for you in the next week or so. Don’t worry about the postage, it’s quite alright, thanks to everyone for doing this.

I can’t tell you how great it is reading everyone’s positive comments about the new songs, it is fantastic. Not long until the album now. Thanks again for all your hard work and that goes for everyone else too, the band really appreciate it, as do I.

I'm guessing for that gross out vid

and theres a bit of a preview of the type of prizes we'll be getting for the competition
and a big thank you to everyone who's contributed so far

too bad we didn't get Ryan's soda can

Haha, I have to say I would enjoy that prize much more if it were not empty.

By the by, don't you guys think a suuuper cool prize would be if he'd give them a disposable camera and they can just take pictures of whatever they want...and the person who wins it can have it developed...I mean, it could end up being complete shit (robbing the person who chooses it) haha, but it would be quite entertaining.

Yeah, she comes up with good ideas once in a while haha. Someone in the know should so request that...cuz I mean, even if it were a prize I'm sure the person would be nice enough to upload them on here for everyone else to goo over.

Edit: basically if that ever happens, that would own.

Thats awesome. I love it when managers and/or band members keep touch with fans. It shows they're true and not all big in the head. Cant wait for the new album. I get more and more excited everyday!!! Cant wait to find out what some of the new prizes will be

they probably delivered it to the wrong address

thats the conclusion I came to when I didn't get it and you didn't mention it being returned to you

or it could have been sent to the wrong area or whatnot and still trying to get here

Andy is so ace, hes such a nice guy to stay intouch with us (im jelouse of you lizzy) it makes everything we're doing so special, knowing they appreciate it...so he does read our stuff

we atleast they know we love the songs

i thought that soda can thing was so great, like they were sitting around drinking and say 'i know we'll put this can in there too!'

I love the fact that The Vines are really interested and do pay attention to the antics of their fans. Seriously, What band's management would email their fans on a regular basis and be so sincere with gratitude for our on going support of the band?

It just makes me so darn proud.
