its always hot here.....lie even around christmas i can wear a pair of shorts a tee shirt even though i dont want too.. my air conditioner did that ....it sucked i was outside becuase the house was sofa king hot

yea, i suppose, living in california and all. in minnesota wer get extreme heat in the summer and extreme cold in the winter. and then for like a 2 week span we get perfect weather...

Grrrrrr....I have a male friend who doesnt think i like the Vines, the Strokes or the White Stripes.
He thinks i dont like their music at all. He also knows i find Craig, Julian and Jack to be really good looking. That is why he thinks i dont like the music. He says it's too much of a coincidence.

But you see folks, i DO love the music too. Why would i say i love the music just because the singer is attractive. That would be utterly ridiculous! I'm more mature and grown up then that. If i honestly didnt like the music, i would admit it. And i DO love the music! verrrry much so i might add!
Those three bands have some of the best music of 'todays music' thats out there! IMO of course.

I dont know why i cant convince him of that. We always end up arguing.

the first i saw/heard of the vines was the 'get free' video - i immediately loved the song and i thought craig was cute..but also about 16. i fell hard for the band, though, when i got the HE cd about a week later and listened to it for the first time - i loved it from start to finish, which seldom happens with any album. the music won me first...but craig and the person he is (someone who is beautiful inside and out) made me obsessive about the band.

i always knew who the vines were...like i heard them on the radio and stuff like 2002....Then i saw Ride and i was totally like entraced with craig i guess....mind you i was like miss emo Afi rocks person ...then i saw ride and i was like i ike them then i got winning days ...and i became like crazy for them then i got highy evolved over the summer...(funny story how i got highly evolved)

so you worked it backwards - WD and then HE. i actually like WD a little more than HE, so that could've worked for me too. VV is now my favorite of all - how many bands can you honestly say you've liked better with each album? very few, if any, for me other than the vines.

.. i honestly dont have a favorite i reallly like winning days.... the vines definatly show their maturing...thats probably why they are also so awesome and all their songs dont sound the same thats why i also like them..and yeah i noticed that also i do like them a little more with each album....

Thing is with me, Craig came first, then i discovered the music. So i guess thats why my friend might think that i only like the music because of Craig. Which i think is obsurd...
He said its the same thing with the Strokes. I said no. I actually discovered the music first, then i saw how cute Julian was. He barely bought that idea. But then he said with the White Stripes, its only cause i like Jack.
How could he possibly say that? he says he likes Shania Twain, but that at least he admits its only because of her, and not her music. He said why cant i admit it with mine then?

i honestly cant remember how i got into the vines. I remember taping the VMAs to watch them.. but i remember buying Winning Days.. I did have HE before WD but.. i dont remember ever buying it. I didnt fall in love with Craig until I saw him in Ride I know what for a fact.. but I honestly cant remeber how i got inot them in the first place

i love all three albums equally. dont think id be able to choose a favoirte becuase they each bring something different and beautiful to the table. HE becuz they're full of energy and not afraid to show it, WD becuz they mature and take relaxing 'laying out in a feild and starring up at the clouds' feel, and then VV becuz they come back from hardship with harmonies, melodies, and in your face songs. Each one, Craig sings from inside himself... and we know that too. He puts his heart and soul into his music, and that makes it real.

but of course, you guys already knew that

really funny story : its about how i got HE....

okay it was my brothers 5th birthday and my cousins were messing with my tire swing...and my cousin got it as high as it can go . my couin told ne he would give me money if i got on to the tire swing i was lie yeh ill do it... the the rope broke and gave me a little cut and hes like ou definatley are getting that vines CD ... so i was like yeh!! so then we got and he blared it ... really random but funny

When i first saw a picture of Craig, it was just a small black and white shot of them. I spotted Craig..(tho i didnt know his name then)....and he immediately caught my eye. I had no idea he was even the lead singer. I just spotted him cause i thought he was really good looking. Simple as that.

I dont like Jack or Julian because they are lead singers either. They could have been garbage men..and i stil would have thought they were gorgeous. Its not "because" they are the lead singer...and thats why i like them. How retarded would that be.
