I'm reading through The Vines' articles again and my heart skipped a beat (in an unpleasant way!) when I read Patrick's response to the question who his first girlfriend was. He said 'a girl named Craig Nicholls'. I know it was a joke and I read it about a hundred times but it still gives me the creeps. Craig/Patrick seems so wrong to me.

I hear ya about school. Maintaining my GPA has reduced me to have little more than a fraction of a social life.

I'm transferring to the University of Rochester so that I can finish my Bachelor's. I'm moving to live on campus because having my own apartment is much too expensive for my broke, broke ass. Being a poor college student sucks.

I hadn't heard about a quilt, but about a man-bag (he he he! I love the phrase 'man-bag' so much! I don't know why)/guitar strap cover made out of small patches, also run by Lizzy, for Craig's 29th birthday. I didn't send one of those but I wrote him a letter that I sent to Lizzy...that's probably not what you were talking about though.


I automatically thought 'Craig.' But that's okay...if I got close enough to witness it and prove my theory, I'd cuddle with him to keep him warm and let Ry have the blanket

Haha, that made my day. I felt kinda strange watching Get Free part, though. I subconsciously knew how it should sound like but there was another version coming out of the speakers and it messed with my head. My mind couldn't comprehend why Craig wasn't singing it.

EDIT: The most incredible thing happened today!!! We were in a classroom, "preparing" for the international tournament this weekend and we decided to listen to music on MySpace. So after being forced into listening to horrid music, I got in charge of selecting the next song and I went on The Vines' MySpace, 'fcourse and hit Get Free. And you know what?!?! My fellow debater told me she listens to them, too!!! Likes them a lot actually. I nearly fell off my chair! That's the first time I met someone that listens to them! I'm so making her helping me to promote the guys around or something. Or at least nag her all the time.
And she likes The Strokes, too. And my other debater saw The Strokes live a couple of years back in Germany! She said she had only stayed at the concert for 20 minutes because she was sick but I'm gonna bug her for details anyway.

I only saw that video once, but I think it was mostly the footage from that with some extra stuff thrown in. There was a bit with Craig in a car, I think, and another where they were trashing a dressing room.
