bob marley. his was pop reggae. it had a dance hall beat or something, influenced ska or something, they put in the dance hall tempo to make sure it would be popular world wide or something. do you know of any other reggae group other than the wailers?

shit, I love burning spear's, lewis astwood, m'lonie. I used to have this huge crate of vinyl from the little white co-ed students when they moved from the university, it was full of everything but marley. I think I only have kinky reggae (I bought it for like 2 dollars at a garage sale), gold, and exodus. but I totally buy all the random shit I can at catch a fire.

The only Bob Marley song I've heard is Redemption Song, which I love - I downloaded a cover by Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros, and it's so brilliant that I downloaded the original. I've kinda been wanting to get into reggae since I discovered the Clash, but I'm really not sure what to start with... So I haven't.
