I'm VERY sure now. I'm being really hypocratical right now. Due the lack of my money I won't buy any CDs till the new Vines album. (+cough+ yeah, the hypicratical part isn't hard to guess I assume)

The Success of the bands third album will determine if the band has a career outside of Australia. Basically, if it sells well outside Oz future albums will continue to be released around the world. And that means some form of touring (one off shows rather then traditional shows) are likely if you live in or near a major city.
I hope everyone buys the album and doesnt download beforehand.

Sitting in front of your computer is not the way to enjoy your first listen of an album by a band you love.

Will the amount of records sold affect if there will be any touring? Or is it strictly down to Craig's AS?

they'll probably try to do some shows - in oz for sure. the more the album sells, the more they might want to tour behind it, but touring will be limited (number of cities and shows, breaks between live performances) to accomodate craig's AS. that may mean fewer shows in fewer cites with more days off in between - make sense? and should they fly anywhere, they'd probably keep the travel time down to 4-6 weeks away tops.

what vines mgmt seems to want to stress is that they won't be doing a 50 city world tour that spans three months because craig can't handle it. if anything, they'll do a fourth of that number of shows and take some time to do it.

I hope they do a slow, but progessive, tour around Oz.

Im so bad for downloading cds, and everything I can pretty much, videos,music,computer programs... seriously bitcomet-limewire junkie.. (bought my first cd in like a year couple days ago, and was a dvd actually. supergrass is 10 dvd. It was a little expensive, but figured I owed them..! and was welllll worth it) ooh am feeling bit nervous even posting this. heheh, yeah, fbi arrives at my door next morning... heheh.. anyway of course I am making an excepting for the new album. I could never do that to them!!! !! horror!! not after all Craig and the guys have gone through! especially because theres not much other ways to support them, in way of seeing them live and buying merchandise, really. but.... if it's copy protected or whatever will download it so I can have it on my beloved nano (main reason I dont buy cds anyway..) and maybe if I can download it before I buy, if I'm really impatient.. (am) is so exciting!!! going to buy real live cd!!! eeeeeehhh!

2nd....I'll be buying another WD as well for I own 2 HH now.

3rd.....Until we start to hear...."Vines looking for bass player", I don't believe we'll be seeing them on the stage.
