Hello, this is me posting an annoying serious reply about problems in a thread that's supposed to be amusing. I'm sorry.

I'm awful when I've PMS, I get out of control and start picking fights with everyone. I get violent too. I mean, I'm not "normal" (I hate saying that) most of the time, but somehow it gets worse - extremely bad, to be honest - when I've PMS. So the week before I get my period is pretty much an entire week of torture for my mom.

haha I love how my brothers get sooooo uncomfortable if they hear anything to do with periods. Like one time my brother was taking his sweet old time in the bathroom shaving and wouldn't let me in... so I said "my tampons are in there, let me in" . He was like "you are disgusting, you make me sick." As if because I'm his sister I'm not a real girl or something . Or if he makes a comment about me "PMSing" because I seem moody I tell him whether I am or not it's funny how he brings that on himself by saying that.

I once made my dad go to the shop and buy me tampons cause i was wallowing in self pity and did not want to leave the house. He was mortified. I have three brothers who wreck my head enough so when auntie rose comes to visit it is hell for them because i get so snappy and give the evil eye like ten times more than usual. I am not a moody person so this is the only time you will see me in a bad mood so just watch yourself.

Same here. I get very fiesty and willing to pick fights with anything, or anyone.

As far as I know I'm not really different when I have PMS. I just get stomachcramps. That's it.

my friend gives me a warning every month.....

We'll have just a normal friendly conversation, and she'll just say "Oh, and I'm starting to go through PMS, by the way."

It's subtle, but it's nice to know so I'll adjust.

This isn't "expecially for girls", it is for girls. Guys dont get PMS and every guy knows its in bad taste to talk about it.
