Ever wonder how to play those cool Vines songs but can't ever figure them out?
Post your Vines tabulatures here. Guitar, bass, whatever. You can post them directly, or create a link.

Ok, well, I made this because, it's hard to find accurate tabs for The Vines. I want to buy the tab book for highly evolved really badly, but, alas, no money, and no time to earn it.

First off, I was wondering if anybody has In the Jungle for guitar, and it's actually right.

highly evolved - the little solo riff - i cant find a correct tab or figure it out myself...

I wish I could help, maybe someone else can.
I focus more on the acoustic pieces myself, so I only worry about the rhythms and such (cuz I play acoustic)
I feel bad I can't help you! It just doesn't work trying to play the distortion and stuff with my guitar.

Nov 2 2005, 12:21 PM
no problemo - il figure it out somehow - im quite a widely ranged person from really just strumming chords and singing... to speeding away with metal riffs so anythings fine.

Do you have the

I want to get it!

Close. Couple of errors though.
The bit called "riff 3" in there actually goes
e ------------0
B ------------0
G -------------
D --------2---
A --------2---
E 3b5r3-0---
Then the "I'll be waiting for a hit yeah" bit is
F#5 A5 C5 F#5, then quickly
E 2-0-2-0
Then finally F#5 G5 A5 A#5 C5 F#5, which is as the above chord progression but with a few extra notes in between

About four years. There was a site somewhere with all the Vines tabs on it. This guy had a site and I sent in tabs for pretty much every song, but now I don't know where it is.

If you're enough of a show-off you can play those both at the same time on one guitar, by playing the second riff whilst
hitting the open notes from the first one.

Just use open chords instead of power chords. Only on the intro, though. He goes back into power chords by the time the first chorus comes round. Just pick random notes.

I'm looking for the original guitar tab or piano sheets of Winning Days. Anyone has it?? I really need it now. In case no one has the original one, transcription ones which are as accurate to the song on the CD as possible.

Weeell... I've looked, and it 'seems' as if the only Tab Book that's offical that they have is Highly Evolved... Rawr...
I don't know, I got some of the tab off of Ultimate Guitar.com, but, like you said, you were looking for the original... Hm... *ponders* I don't know... maybe you'll just have to kinda look at what other people have tabbed, and if it doesn't seem right, you could improvise...
That's kinda what I do, when I see something, and it doesn't look right. Anyway!
While you're at it, you should find the Tab to Landslide for me. ^^ Heh, kidding. But, yeah, that's the only real advice I could give you, (probably useless advice, but, it's something.)

and according to xanimalxmachine theyre's no official tab book for winning days so i guess thats impossible haha

Eh heh, yeah. I guess the best thing to do is just either to it by ear, look it up on the internet, and then improvise on the places that don't sound too correct... S'what I did... *nods*

The guitar solo is pretty random, but staying close to the root notes. I'm pretty sure Craig isn't even aware of what he's playing. Just mess around in the Bb major scale.
The verses are all barre chords. You can play them open if you like, but you won't get that 'scratchy' sound.
