yeah it was so odd! i had gone a few weeks before to see the getaway plan and it was swarming with emos so i was surprised to see hardly anyone there but also relieved because i was able to stand right infront of craig. best night.
and of course after i got into them i found out they had played a myspace secret show in melbourne a couple of weeks earlier!

my involvement with the vines became small but it grew bigger and bigger when I found out Craig had AS like me and when Melodia came out and that preview thing they had on Channel [V]

Mtv news (i believe in) 2002. In the special they interviewed craig and patrick at mcdonalds.
I went out and bought Highly Evolved and that was that.
seven years later they're still my favorite band.

Well! I got really bored and hyper one day. So I got on youtube to find some crazy music to just act completely insane to. Well I came upon this party music stuff, and it was going through different songs that the boys who were making the video liked. One of the songs was Ride, and I instantly loved it. So I typed that in, and clicked on the first thing that popped up to listen to it. My first thoughts were "Hey, these guys sound awesome. Singer dude has a cute accent and voice." So then I decided to look into them more, and when I seen the actual video for Ride, I just thought Craig was the cutest!
But since then, I've listened to them and really loved the band! Even though I don't know much about them. Cause I'm kinda new to them.
It's sad I can't find any of their CD's in any of the shops here. People are def. missing out!!
Aha.. And I still have that youtube link thing saved from when I first heard it.

Yeah! They quickly became my favorite band after I listened to more of their stuff. Mary Jane, Winning Days, Autumn Shade I & II, Animal Machine, etc. I like the sound and Craig's voice! Hah! His looks blew me away too. Once I seen him, it was like... crush at first sight, lmao!

I was at best buy i think...i was like 8 and my dad said he wanted the cd because he probly heard get free but yeah, so i saw a huge vines cardboard set up with a bounch of HE cds and i was like DAD THEY HAVE IT. and he was like ok we'll get it. i didnt know who they where at the time. but i remember the first time i heard it was on the way home. i didnt really get into them untill i saw ride on yahoo launch. and i was like Yeah i know these guys. they are really good. so i bought winning days. and life was good ever since.
