Thanks for maintaining your faith in the guys. You will be rewarded when the album is done I can assure you! It is coming along really well, and they are actually nearly done tracking. We’ll hear some rough mixes late next week and start talking to Capitol about mixing dates soon. The songs are brilliant, mostly short and noisy, kind of along the lines of the very first demos, it’s really exciting.

This album sounds like it'll be so incredible! (although what else would I expect from The Vines? )Andy saying the songs are along the lines of the first demos makes me wonder if the guys are going to go for a more raw sounding album this time around... Unless he's not refering to the recording of the songs at all, just the structure of the songs? Either way (although I'm hoping for the raw ), it'll be more than brilliant . I can't wait! No, you probably won't be able to buy the demos unless they get released as b-sides on the singles the guys release. Andy just said that the new songs are sounding like some of the first demos done by the band .
