Oasis received two awards at the Q Awards at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel yesterday. The band won Best Album for Don't Believe The Truth and the Q’s People Choice award. Richard Ashcroft presented the band with their awards and all the band went up on stage to collect them.

I just love Oasis. And the members are adorable. It's a band I got into just because of watching the crap music programmes and then there was a band that I liked more than others. A band whose music made me feel. But, honestly, they are a very good band. I don't care which album is better... I've been listening to Definitely Maybe all week and I still can't get enough of it.

excellent assessment, though 'be here now' has its moments (few and far between, but they're there). 'masterplan' owns, which just goes to show oasis were one of the best b-sides bands ever when they were in their prime - in fact, their b-sides were actually better than the singles and album cuts. how many bands can say that?
