There's no denying that both, Radiohead and Muse, are brilliant bands. It can be argued that, as far as the music and the lyrics are concerned, Radiohead are unsurpassed.
(It has been said - all too often

- that without Radiohead there would be no Muse etc. etc.)
But the question is: which of them, Thom Yorke or Matt Bellamy, is the better SINGER?

I don't see how anyone could say they sound even the slightest bit alike.

I'm voting for Matt here. He's a much, much better singer than Thom. I'm not saying Thom isn't a good singer, fuck no, but Matt's voice is so much stronger. I'm also much more into Muse. I never really liked Radiohead all that much, I just don't get what all the fuss is about.

there is no fuss, we're just being pigeon-holed.....
....and I just hate Matt because when he sings, he has the highest pitch in his voice, but when he talks, he has the deepest tone ever....

I want that!!!

^ exactly. God I can't believe the lead sound at the end of Muscal Museum is made by his voice.

Anyway I love guys with deep voice... like Jarvis

Matt...Don't get me wrong...As a band, I like Radiohead better thatn Muse, but Matt's voice goes so fucking high and so low. So you know, he has more octaves in his voice.

This is too hard. I really like them both, but I voted Thom. Matt has a better range, but I find Thom's voice more listenable. But on the other hand, Matt can do amazing things with his voice, just listen to the end of Showbiz.

It sure does! How hot a band member is in direct proportion to how hot the music is.
I dont know who the best "singer" is out of these two, but i picked Matt Bellamy, cause i like more Muse songs then Radiohead, tho i like a few of their stuff too.
