what codecs do i need to download for viewing some of the videos? There are so many out there....is there a specific package of them that i should try to download?

they downloaded fine...but both of them stop in the middle and go back the beggining and i can't get it past the point where it goes back. Is that my computer...or the file? Help...

^a similar thing happened to me It downloaded the file to a certain point, and then it would just stop

that's probably why it stopped...the file was only partially dowloaded and something went wrong and it just saved it like that.

Are you using Internet Explorer as your browser? Sometimes that just goes wonky when you're downloading.

Yeah there are other browsers (I use Mozilla Firefox), but usually if you just try again internet explorer will eventually work right.

Firefox also blocks all popups automatically though, so it's a lot nicer than explorer. And it's free.

the two you really need are wmp and divx. if you're videos aren't playing or give an error message saying 'codecs are missing' then pm vinechild cos she found a program online that fixes that.



i'm not sure what the problem is. i actually upload and download all my files with internet explorer instead of my aol (which is my main browser) cos i have better luck with it.

i'll upload those two again to see if it helps.

^ that's not it. you're uploading something that's audio not video. when you click download, it takes one second. i haven't a clue what the deal is.

edit: it's also just 36bytes, which in geekspeak is nothing. vid files are much larger. i'm not sure what you're uploading.
