hahahahaha
who doesn't like free stuff though??
If I were famous and had fans send me cards letters and presents (through fan mail) I'd be delighted.
anyways when it comes to the whole everyone thinking they have AS thing its just normal for people to think that when they hear all the symptoms. If you ever take a psychology class you leave it thinking you have like 100 different mental afflictions. Its just the little hypochondriac in all of us.
*EDIT*
oh and those who really have it yeah, they really have it. But theres no harm in someone saying they THINK they have it or claim to have it when they really believe they do.
No one goes nutso if someone says "I think I have a cold"
anywho most of the people who have made thread on here about them or someone they know having AS its been like a one time thing...they just signed up on the forum to put in their 2 cents about the syndrome after hearign about Craig's diagnosis on the news. Its not like all the normal active members on here suddenly came out with OMG I have that too!
yeah that's right!! isn't it called "medical (grad?) student syndrome" or something of the like? well....I know that is where you try to diagnose people you know and you usually are wrong

. AS symptoms do sound liek something easy to relate yourself to, but there is much more to it and it's more severe than people know really. symptoms are what is outside but how these people think and feel is very different from the typical person.

haha i know what you mean, i belong to vampirefreaks and i swear about half of the people claim they are bi-polar
yeah, people are like "oh i have mood swings! sometimes they are really bad!" they don't know that bipolar is absolute hell, not being really happy and relatively depressed occasionally.
