Alright, first off....no more appreciation threads. We've already went through this once...
The existing appreciation threads will be deleted tomorrow so make sure you've said everything in them that you want to and that whoever they are directed towards have seen them.

Secondly, I've made some changes to the rules. I got rid of the rule asking people not to make "specialized topics" that rule is just much too hard to moderate and no one ever got warned because of it anyways.

I also changed the first rule to a maximum of 4 threads a day per person (instead of only 3)

I also added this rule:
3) Post threads in their designated sections. ex. a thread about a musician post in the music section, a thread about The Vines post in The Vines section. etc.

Also, I outlined in the rules some things I've been doing that I havn't mentioned in there before:
If you break rules 6 (harrassing another member) or 12 (racial, sexual, ethnic, sexual orientation slurs) your warning level will go up 30% instead of only 10%.

There is now a minimum term of 7 days for account restrictions

and

There is one way your account restriction term may be extended or upgraded to a more severe restriction. If you break rule 16, posting on an alternate username while you are on account restriction, your account restriction term will be extended by a full 7 days if you were on level 2 account restriction, or will be upgraded to level 2 account restriction if you were on level 1 account restriction. If you continute to post on alternate usernames when you are on level 2 account restriction and you get enough weeks tagged on to your restriction to give you a months worth of restriction then you will be upgraded to level 3 account restriction. If you post on an alternate username even once on level 3 account restriction you will be permanently banned.

Lastly! We're still having a huge problem with huge sigs. Please read the signature rules in the rules and guidelines thread and change your sig to fit the rules (if needed). Allie and Jen have both volunteered to help enforce the signature rules so, I want to thank them.

Here are some changes that have been made to the signature warning system:

-you now only have 5 days instead of 10 days to change your signature after you've been asked to before you are warned. if you do not change your signature after 5 days you will be warned every 4 days instead of every 7 days until it is changed to fit the rules.

-indecent avatars will now follow the same warning system as indecent signatures

-If you have to be asked to shrink pictures or get rid of animated pictures in your signature 3 times (meaning you've had 3 different signatures with huge pictures or more than one animated picture) you will be banned from using any pictures in your signature for 2 months.

I now have 2 helpers when it comes to signatures:

I have a couple members, listed above, who have volunteered to help me crack down on large sigs and indecent avatars. If you are contacted by either of these members about your signature please change it to fit the rules. You will be warned just as you would be if I was the one who had contacted you if you do not fix your signature.

Special Update: For those of you with a shit slow computer which can't load pages because you are to poor to afford a decent computer. Go to your control panel and chose "NO" to viewing peoples signatures and avatars in threads, then burn in hell.
