Wow. That is all I can say. I came home from university today to find a letter waiting for me on the bench. It was stamped "Ivy League" on the back. I opened it carefully, and there was a letter from management, and a letter from the Vines, signed by all three members. I'm so excited that I'm shaking and finding it hard to type. This is so incredible! Thank you so much to everyone involved!!!
Also management are going to email me photos of the band with the book shortly and I'll post them here!
So they got the book, and they loved it .I can't get over this guys! This is amazing!!!!!

that is so amazing and so great of them to take the time and actually acknowledge the book - taking time out to thank fans is just one reason why we love them so. and does that letter mention something about...photos?!?!!! god, it's so great they're willing to give back - and they don't even have to because they've already given us so much with their music.

No, it's almost 11pm here, I don't think I'll get them till tomorrow. And don't worry, I'll be posting them here the minute I get them (well maybe not exactly a minute - I'd have to mop up all the drool and dry my water logged keyboard first ).
Patrick has most likely left the band (although still waiting on the official word from management) - hence no signature. But let's not turn this thread sad with "I wish Patrick was still in The Vines" stuff . Let's stay positive - the band will be fine without Patrick, they're happy and are just about to go in to record. Let's be happy people .
Argh, I really can't wait to get those photos! I'm so thrilled that they took the time to write and have photos taken for us! I am so completely blown away - thanks again to everyone who contributed - this never could have happened without you .

I can't wait for the photos either, I'm so amazed that the guys actually sat down and took the time of day to take pictures and read all of our letters and look at our arts and listen to the music we sent it, it's just mind-boggling!

I'm just so amazed at how good this turned out it was such a good idea. I mean it is so cool to give them all our letters/artwork/photos all in one book...it just seems so much more amazing to have them together in a book that looks so incredably fantastic. knew they would like it.

At this point, I'd also like to say I love Andy Kelly. Always have, always will. He deserves some love too. Even though the package was addressed to Andy specifically, you would've thought the other Andy and Pete would've signed too...

Really? I don't know if they're really doing that much with The Vines at the moment, I think Andy Kelly is their main manager. I'm surprised to have got anything at all in return. And yes - I'm feeling the love for Andy K. at the moment too, it really was so incredibly sweet of him to send us a thank you .

They're still in industry photos for W&G, so I figure they're still officially part of it. I thought they'd make an exception to "come into the office" for something like that.

It was just a book of letters - if the other managers were working with other bands at the time, it would've been a big ask for them to come in and sign a letter. Personally I don't care that they didn't sign it - Andy K. is their main manager at the moment, and the message from Craig, Ryan and Hamish, plus the photos of the band with the book, is way more than enough for me .
I'm still completely ecstatic about it, and the fact that two managers who sometimes deal with The Vines didn't sign it, really doesn't faze me in the slightest. I'm just grateful to have gotten any reply at all *floats around on the ceiling* .
Lets not nit pick, and just be happy people .
