The whole point about his personality and... Radiohead's music...

Wait, that is interesting now...

Why did I start listening to Radiohead?

Well, it is because I started this whole thing about starting to listen to bands who I have the most prejudices... against... about... for? laugh.gif Ah, who needs a preposition?!

And so... I started with... The Who... Then it was Led Zeppelin... Bright Eyes a bit because I was listening to "True Blue" laugh.gif which didn't seem like a "typical" Bright Eyes song to me...

And then... I asked you, Ihatemusic (No, I don't wanna marry you... laugh.gif ) for the worst Radiohead album you have. So... You gave me Pablo Honey.

Haha, I even listened to it more often than you did, which I still find amusing...

But you knew the songs way before you bought the album anyway... laugh.gif

So... Erm, the Iron Lung EP, then OK Computer... Hail To The Thief was after that, I think. laugh.gif Then Amnesiac and Kid A... Finally the I MIGHT BE WRONG live recordings...

And... I think it was in November, when I was listening to Hail To Thief on my laptop that...

I started to get them...

I am still getting them. It's a looong process. I guess you knew that...

Oh, erm...

I compared Thom to Bono today... And I figured out for myself that the difference between them is... Thom criticizes everything, other people, the world and himself. And Bono... He doesn't seem to criticize himself. At least not in public.

I guess that is why you say that he says he does so much great stuff all the time...

That actually is what I've written in the TYOCM thread. laugh.gif

Eric Cantona is backing former club Manchester United to hold off Chelsea and reclaim the Premiership title.

During his own Old Trafford career, the Frenchman won four championships and feels the current United team are strong enough to emulate his own achievements.

The Red Devils currently have a six-point cushion over the reigning champions and Cantona is tipping his old boss Sir Alex Ferguson to lead the club to a ninth Premiership crown.

"United can beat Chelsea in the league," Cantona told the Daily Mirror. "There is no doubt about that.

"They are stronger than Chelsea at the moment and will be for a long time.

"They brought in young players like Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, and Sir Alex Ferguson has a lot of experience helping young players. Not all managers can do that.

"United are strong, but have to prove they are a great team. They can win the Treble and they need to do it."

Cantona also revealed that he always had faith that United would come back to the fore, having slipped into the shadow of Chelsea in recent seasons.

He added: "Last year United had a new team, a new generation.

"But I was sure they would become the best because you are always stronger when you start with a new generation as you can work with them together for a long time.

"Sometimes you need to buy players who have experience, but I think United have the balance at the moment which makes them the best team in England."

"I'm beginning to feel that no author has the right to tear his characters apart if he doesn't know how, or feel that he knows how (poor sucker) to put them together again. I'm tired - my God, so tired - of leaving them all broken on the page with just 'The End' written underneath."

Once you have seen Ben Folds live other musician’s concerts will have a hard time trying to entertain you just as much. Even Ben Folds himself.
Last Monday fans, music nerds and everyone else had the chance to find that out for themselves. It was the second time the singer/songwriter played in Berlin. The venue was considerably smaller than the “Columbiahalle” two years ago but playing the “Postbahnhof” at least had made sure the concert would be sold out within a few weeks – which is amazing if you consider how unknown this guy is in Germany. With virtually no airplay and hardly any advertising you just have to wonder where the people wanting to see him live come from.
Looking around you at the concert the answer seems to be: everywhere. Apart from the few odds from Australia, who are easily made out as they keep on shouting “We’re from Australia!” during the breaks, that means both young and old, male and female and silly- and serious-looking. In short: there seems to be no such thing as a typical Ben Folds listener.
While he is widely popular in the U.S.A. in Germany he

teilweise sehr gruselig, gänsehaut-musik pur.
