There are so many simple bands now... But critics always take their favourites and say they are not simple and they say how shit other bands are although they are as good as the band they're actually talking about or even better. A cute little smilie for all bighead critics. But some are better... I love the critic who interviewed the Strokes, ok, he's a journalist, but he is also a critic... The worst critics are the ones who do nothing else... Aw, the first Matt pic is so cute. I think I'll choose him as my favourite member now.

The first one threw me back into another time and another place and was very special too me. It's "raw" and definitly has a 'theme".

Aha Shake Break is a very good album with varied sounds on the songs and is a really nice pop/rockalbum. That sounds worse as it is. I really like "Soft". There are no bad songs, just no surprises really.

I have to say I notice band's looks.. the way you appear is your identity and shows your individuality. a band's image can also be part of their creativity. (if that makes any sense..)
There's nothing wrong about being majorly attracted to a singer from a band.
I wouldn't dislike a band on image alone though.
Banging on negatively about a band's image is a bit unnecessary...

also.. i think Caleb is still very hot, just something about him i guess.

From all the interviews I read of them they seem funny, smart and very lucid about the business. Jared really seems like a nice person, so does Nathan. Caleb is more the capricious child but he's ok too And well, since they're all nice, it's hard to think Matthew is the only jerk in the band. He's just shy and shy people often appear as pretentious or cold ( I often got called like that while I'm just shy and afraid to talk to people ).
Vincianne and Nadj did you read the french press when the album was released ? Because I have one or two articles from R&F, les Inrocks or Rolling Stone that I could scan if I find them in my messy room.
