Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 01:58 PM
canīt think of anything, but Marina is good.
iīm quite sure Gustaf from Mando Diao called his guitar Natasha.
A russain name for a red guitar owned by a communist.
GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 01:59 PM
since when is Gustaf a communist?
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:02 PM
he said that himself when he told that about his guitar on mtv long time ago.
i thought in sweden are quite a lot leftists anyway.
(shit, i donīt like how i expressed that)
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 02:06 PM
Mhm, well they have a 'left' party there as a goverment right now... but bigger parts of it are a bit right ... eh. Thats difficult
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:13 PM
"left".that can be a lot.

"Blood+Honour" is strong in Scandinavia, too., i think.
bad bad bad
my guitar is black.i donīt like it.
I need a Metal name for it.
but my strap is pink, so itīs difficult.
itīs guitar STRAP not guitar BELT

Guitar NamesThis webpage might help u choose a name for ur guitar... I like the name "Trystin" from that forum.
But remember, its not because someone else chose a name for their guitar that u cant name it the same!
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 02:25 PM
my guitar is black too... but its an acoustic one. It would have a very average cheap name. Like 'John'. Ha, okay, Ill name it John.
In Sweden there are flags everywhere.
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:32 PM
John haha.
Hassall (is that his name at all?)
thanks cortines.if i wonīt find a name there iīll call it Carlos muahahaha
or Emiliano hahaha
or just "guitar".
(this joke is so passé

)
or does Get_out_of_my_bed have an idea??
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 02:38 PM
'John' is also a joke between Salome and me.
Not as much as "Carlos D" though
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:45 PM
donīt make fun of me, iīm very sensitive on that.
i never wanted a name, and now i canīt think of anything else.
i think iīll call it "nana".YES!!!!!!
that was a synonyme for prostitute in early 20th century art and it reminds me of Dada.
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:46 PM
but Salome is a great name too.thereīs a painting called like that.
but itīs some tragedy too, isnīt it??
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 02:46 PM
I wasnt making fun of you. It's the truth.
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:49 PM
alright, then i didnīt get it.
i wonder when iīll finally take nana to my breast again haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahahahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaa.
Thomhatesmusic
Aug 6 2005, 02:50 PM
Really: 1) I had a crush on a guy called John, 2) "Carlos D" is our inside anti-joke
Ms.teenageDonVito
Aug 6 2005, 02:55 PM
anti-joke.hahaha
iīll never understand that.
i hardly have inside jokes.but i have lots of inside names for people in school like Lustmolch and Bergtroll.
itīs much easier to find names for human beings than for instruments.

Thank you and you are very welcome!

By the way, I was told to give a name to my guitar 3 years ago by my black-american guitar teacher.
But he said it was important that guys should name their guitar with a female name, and vice-versa for the girls...

It's not that I'm un-original...but I have never named an object. I don't know...it's just not my cup of tea...I never even named my former pets.
I like to give my boyfriend funny nicknames when we're in bed doing the cha-cha-cha. Hope that counts.

2 things:
- when u see a male nana, call me at 0032/(0)472827330
- its all psychological, im pretty sure that u actually DO play more sensually

Erm... I always thought and I've always been told that it has something to do with the bible... Greak literature... Interesting point... That's new to me. Ah, I'm reading the new HP book and I saw DADA, which means "Defence Against the Dark Arts" and I reminded that because dada was mentioned in a post before.

ooooops i think iīm wrong then.
But there is even a "Salome" by Oskar Wilde. There is a painting by Aubrey Beardsley for that.

I very randomy thought of a just-for-guitar-name:
~Resona~
I though from the french word "résonner" which means "to resound" in english, which is the amplification of the sounds inside the guitar's body when the chords are strummed...
What you think?
