I saw the Vines perform last April at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, Washington. They fucking ROCKED! One of the best shows I have ever been to. They were playing with Jet and the Living end too (The Aussie Invasion Tour). I can't wait for them to come around again, and I can't wait for the new album to come out either.

I saw them at the aussie invasion tour too, but next time if they tour, they probably won't share the stage with 3 other bands, so i was thinking they may play a longer set..?????

I live in small-town Fort Ann. So it's doubtful they will come here. And, if they did play around here, I would have to drive about 5 hours to see them, because all of the music playing places around here are far away.


But it would be worth it.

Is Fort Ann far from NYC?

I live in Sydney too - we're pretty lucky cause if the Vines do any concerts, they're pretty much guaranteed to do at least one here . I'm hoping for them to do a couple of secret gigs like they did last time around, I'd love to see them in a really small, intimate venue like the Annandale. I'm guessing that they'd probably be releasing their new album in April/March next year so if they did that they'd probably do some gigs around Sydney some time from December/ January. I'm probably being a little optimistic here, and I'm definitely getting ahead of myself, but oh well .

why can't the vines tour through germany?i think a nice little concert in munich would be really fine... and here are enough people who love them..otherwise i'll have to wait 2 more years 'til i go back to australia for some time..and that's REALLY MUCH TOO LONG!=)

They did tour Germany and they did gig in Munich. If they wont tour at all anymore they sure wont tour germany either.

Why, Vines, why?

I read on the french site that they won't make tour anymore... I don't know if it's true but it makes me so sad. Does that mean they play out of America or Autralia? Perhaps it's not true, i don't know.

it's true about the no touring - according to the band and mgmt, there won't be any touring, though they're not completely ruling out a few shows here and there.

where, when and to what extent they will play live, no one will probably know until the album is out.

It was actually scheduled for a March 7th release but I'm not sure if that date will hold.

i've been waiting for so long to see the vines live and i couldn't yet. i don't know whether they had played some time in germany or austria, but it would be very nice, if they would play in my area.

so, does anybody know, whether they have planned a europe tour or if they maybe play on a festival in the middle of europe?

I think that its hard to say. I think that if they do tour they will go to the UK or to North America . But it would be more likely the UK. Or they say they may never tour at all. I think they will tour a little bit, they say they may never do it again. Also welcome to the forum
