I hope everyone is having a nice summer/winter/whatever season it is where you live. I've come across a few problems here recently so heres your mod update for July:

I've gotten complaints about LedZeppelinLady PMing people with spam. I PMed her a few days ago asking her to stop. If anyone receives a PM from LedZeppelinlady asking you to join her forum PM me and tell me about it. Since she has never made a post on the forum I cannot ban her but, if she continues to spam up our inboxes I'll do a bit of url doctoring and see what I can do.

I will be adding the content of my last mod update concerning threads made in the vines section about Craig as a new rule in the forum rules and guidelines. I will not be warning people for breaking it, unless they do it repeatedly.

I have finally decided on a warning system for people with signatures that break the recent signature rules. It will be added to the forum rules and guidelines thread and it works like this:

1) If you have a signature that breaks any of the signature rules you will receive a PM informing you what is wrong with it and how to change it.

2) I will record the earliest date you log into the forum after I send you a PM.

3) You have 10 days from the date I record to change your signature to fit the new rules, after 8 days you'll receive a reminder PM. If you receive a PM telling you that your signature needs to be changed because it has "indecent content" you only have 2 days to change it and you will be warned once immediately.

4) After 10 days (2 days if your signature has indecent content) if you have not changed your signature to fit the rules you will be warned once and will be sent a PM informing you of the warning.

5) Every 7 days (2 days if your signature has indecent content) after your first warning you will receive an additional warning and a PM if your signature is not changed.

If your signature has severely indecent content you could be put on account restriction right off. If you are banned for having indecent content in your signature all of your posts ever made on the forum will be deleted. If you are not very active on the forum you will only be warned once every 2 days after you log on. If you receive a PM from me telling you your sig breaks any rules and you do not understand any instructions I give you or how to change it make sure to reply to me with a PM asking me to explain anything you don't understand. If you don't understand any of the steps of the signature warning system I just listed PM me about it.

One more thing I will be adding to the forum rules and guidelines thread is a list of members who have been permanently banned from the forum.

This list currently only has 4 members:

fatima nicholls
BILLIE
Hollyholl

The reason I will be keeping this list public is that I want any of you who are contacted by a banned member to let me know when and how you were contacted and show me the content of the message you received. I also want anyone who thinks a banned member has continued to post on the forum under a new username to PM me and give me the new username of the member in question. Of course, if you happen to be friends with someone who is banned from the forum I don't expect you to send me any conversations or messages you've had with/gotten from them. I only want to be PMed about any kind of harrassing messages.

anyways....she was really annoying. She would have some nice normal conversations here and there but most of the time she was spamming up threads and such.

I'm sad to say she hasn't attempted yet. I lie awake at night and wait, but no one ever comes to kill me. I wonder what she'd use.

Can we do something about the 'are you a virgin?' thread? Granted I didn't read it all, but what I did read seemed to be pervey nonsense, not to speak of the ridiculousness of having such a thread. Most people here are under 16 and definitely under 18, so I don't see the need to discuss these things so unpleasantly.

And no, I'm not just saying that because I've never had sex. Which implies that I haven't. ANYWAY.

I think we should keep the virgin thread for the reasons I stated in the thread. I think it's good for people to have a place to talk reasonably about it and ask questions. But definitely immature and useless posts within it should be deleted.
