I believe this is directed at me. It's completely pathetic to make a new thread about it.

I didn't say that you didn't appreciate good music; I merely thought it was absurd of you to create a thread declaring how you liked neither Up The Bracket nor The Libertines (album), but still loved The Libertines (band). I'm sorry if I'm being obtuse here, but I simply cannot see how one can claim to love a band if one doesn't like any of their albums. If your excuse is that you didn't like the albums 'because you just started to listen to them', why make a thread about it? Why not wait until the songs had grown on you (or you'd decided you liked them)? I didn't actually mean that The Libertines were your favourite band; I was using exaggeration, a commonly used satirical expression.

I'm not trying to judge you - it just irritates me when people decide that they like bands without actually liking any of their songs. You did exactly what you condemn 'teenyboppers' and fans of people like Ashlee Simpson for.

In response to your rather personal comments, I'm not a 'fucking loser', and 'trashing other people' does not make me feel good. Your comments annoyed me, so I posted accordingly. It's a forum - you have to expect people to post their opinions, even if they differ from your own. I have a life, and will tell you what I've done in the past week and plan to do in the next one if you're really that interested. I don't think you're in any position to tell anyone else to grow up, and I don't think I need to, particularly in pertinence to you, given that you come across as a nine year old and I don't. I'm certainly not ten years old, as you suggested. Being immature is a matter of opinion; I think it's better to laugh at things if you can, and I don't think teachers have much right to tell you what you can/'t laugh at. It was at times like that that something Mark Twain once said came into mind: "I have never let my schooling interfere with my education". I may have misquoted, but you get what I mean.
