Hi everyone, I'm a big fan of the vines and i've seen them twice live in Toronto, Canada although I've never been on this forum before.

Anyways, I am going to the University of Adelaide next winter (summer in Australia) for an international exchange semester and I am hoping to talk with some of you Aussies to get an idea of what to expect when i get there. I heard that weed is somewhat legal so I'm pretty stoked about that and I've also heard that Australian girls really know how to party.

So yeah, I guess I'm just posting this thread for people to talk about how awesome Australia is, where the best surfing is, where the best pot is

The best bit about going anywhere is when you find out that weed is somewhat legal. Forget the people or the atmosphere or the things you can do...it's all about whether weed is (somewhat) legal or not.

im from australia in sydney and to get one thing straight.. Pot is illegal in australia. And im guessing if you get busted with it your probs most likely to get sent back to where you came from. And also adelaide is the worst state in australia. You were problery better off going to sydney or Queensland. haha... and fucking path aussie girls know how to party ;P

I agree with vicky - you definitely have your priorities right . But yeah, winningdays is right pot's illegal in most places - you'll have to trek over to the ACT to get legal pot. Canberra is a bit of a boring hole - but since culture isn't too important to you it shouldn't bother you .

winningdays: $2 is enough to buy a can of something - you near a vending machine? You can usually get a coke for $1.20 .
