Today am going to a festival here in Germany: Rock am Ring..maybe you know it...

no, i can´t contribute anything informative to this thread ...or maybe....
....actually the last "gig" was superpunk(yeah, sounds worse than it is actually), but i refuse considering it as a real gig.....
so my REAL last gig was the (international) noise conspiracy

why do you refuse considering Superpunk as a real gig? Their name is definitly mis-leading.
Oh yeah but the Interpol gig isnt as soon as saturday

because i never realized that they were playing actually.......
we waited 2 and a half hours and then i had to go to get the last fucking "straßenbahn"
but as i sat there near the stage and almost fell asleep (yeah the people were going CRAZY... ) , one drumstick fell to my feet!!! how amazing....
now i have a superpunk drum stick!!!!!!
i like them actually but that was wrong place and wrong time!

June 11: Some free festival with new Dutch bands. I hope they're any good.

July 3: Metropolis Festival. Another free festival, right here in Rotterdam. There'll be lots of new bands and some well-known bands like Death From Above 1979 and Mando Diao. Radiohead, The Strokes and The Killers have played there too before they were famous, so maybe there'll be quite some promising bands.

July 12: Bright Eyes.

Not sure of the date: Lowlands. TEH BEST FESTIVAL, YO!

Why Maroon 5?

Because there all playing together. I like some of Maroon 5, they sound like RHCP and most of they're stuff that hasn't been a single is by far more funk based.

I saw Ben Folds yesterday and it was bloody brilliant.

gigs so far this year: The Music, Youth Group, The Hives, Bright Eyes, BDO, Powderfinger, Hanson.

coming up: Interpol, QOTSA, Evermore, redsunband, Panda Band and hopefully Splendour if I can get some tickets off ebay .

I went to The Killers a couple of days ago. Not long before that I went to Bright Eyes and The Faint. And not long before that I went to Hot Hot Heat...So on and so forth.There are too many bands coming, it's hard to keep track Modest Mouse are coming with Metric. I'm not crazy about Modest Mouse, but I love Metric so it would be nice to go.

The last one I went to was Razorlight opening for Muse.

I haven't been to any recently and I'm not going to any coming up either.

I'll probably see Interpol in July and I just got tickets for Oasis in November .

I'm going to see Stereophonics on Saturday and Interpol next month. It's weird 'cos I have all the albums of the first band (accumulated over six years) and the latter, I've heard three singles and nothing else. I should really got one or both Interpol albums, shouldn't I?

I only have their latest one - and it's great. You really should go buy it, the first thing I'm doing when my exams are over is going on a CD shopping spree - the other Interpol album is definitely on the list of CDs to buy. I haven't got tickets to that show yet but I think I'll get them off ebay soon .

I'm going to see Kashmir(a danish band, some may have heard of them and if not, check them out ) soon. In two weeks time. I've seen them three times now, and they're awesome each time

Oh you definitly should get both Interpol albums, they are very much worth the money.

the last concert i went to was last monday in hamburg: tocotronic + adam green + british sea power...it was such a great concert...i'm really addicted to tocotronic, i saw them the eight times now and after every concert i was looking forward so much to see them again...
