i love the dandy warhols. but i dont really know much about them. i dont know where they're from or anything. i just know their music. and they did a documentary with this other band called something like 'brian jonestown massacre'. i think that's the name..i might've gotten it wrong.

Aren't they from Seattle? I've liked them for quite some time now. I gave one of my friends the "Higher than the sun" t-shirt, and now they're his favourite band to listen to. hahaha.

I fuckign love the dandys with all my heart and soul. They are #2 on my top bands list. I'd say start from the beginning and go rom there, btu all there albums are good so you make the choice.

Come Down and 13 Tales are very good. Their 1st one is also very cool (Dandy's Rule OK). Haven't heard Monkey House yet, and I still want the black album. Anyone have that one or know how to get it?, because apparently its quite scarse.

You can get it on their site. I did, and it's well worth the 30 dollars seen as how it's 2 CDs and free shipping, not to mention awesome music to begin with. I listen to them all the time.
