I was scrolling down the topics on this part of the fourm and I realized that half of you probably get your music from the new Nme or something like that correct?
How about discussing music with your friends and going to shows and finding out about your local bands?
So. All I am going to say is Check out The arcade fire.
Go right now you fucks.
If you want some more bands to check out Im me.
I am a music machine with hot hips.

how do you like my video idea for the song wake up: a bunch of small chinese kids in a big crowd wearing awesome paint splattered kimonos singing the 'OOOOoooooOOOO' part while releasing red ballons into the sky lookin all happy and you'd have all these psychadelic camera effects panning from them and the balloons and the band on stage and the chinese kids are just going WILD!!

I was going to make a topic about them, good thing I didn't. The Arcade Fire are a great band in the sense that they expiriment with other intstruments besides the typical ones. I'll use Rebellion (Lies) (which happens to be my favourite song by them. SO anyhow in Rebellion (Lies you can hear violins and acoustic pianos. The Arcade Fire is more then ok in my book.
