Ahhh there's lots of great music videos.
But I'd have to say one of my favorite music videos ever is "Can't Stop" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. So fucking...random...My friend and I crack up everytime we watch it. Not to mention I love the song as well.

The Stills - Love & Death..mainly because Emily Haines from Metric is in it.
The Strokes - Last Nite...because they are so drunk and it's hilarious.
The Killers - Mr Brightside...Moulin Rouge is hot and this video is hot too.
Silverchair - Across The Night..so magical
Goldfrapp - Strict Machine and Twist..both are very trippy.

REM's Imitation of Life
The way they made the video is very interesting. let me see if i can explain it clearly...
They set up this one gigantic scene with loads of people doing seperate things. and they film only like 10 seconds. so what happens on Tv is that, as the song is played, the video stretches to 4 minutes by constantly rewinding and playing. the screen focuses on a different portion of the gigantic scene each time it is rewinded and played. like, we get a close up of a person singing one line, and after his line is done, the camera rewinds and then focuses on anothe rperson signing a different line. and some of the video is even played backwards....k, that was pretty confusing. just go check out the damn video somewhere.
Luv.

This is no contest.
Pearl Jam - "Do The Evolution"
It's loud, awesome, and it's animated by no other than the creator of Spawn himself, Todd MacFarlane.

There's a video for that?
comradestripe
Mar 7 2005, 03:39 PM
Yeah, I think it was directed by Sofia Coppola (or however you spell her name), and involves Kate Moss whoring herself round a pole. Men might enjoy it; I just don't like it as I think it's pretty much the antithesis of the song.
Thomhatesmusic
Mar 7 2005, 03:43 PM
It looks ok actually. But it got nothing to do with the song... it's just... well Kate Moss
edit: its actually the video of them which I saw the most often rigth after seven nation army
comradestripe
Mar 7 2005, 03:46 PM
I just don't see the point. Maybe it's Jack White saying to the person he sings IJDKWTDWM about "har, look, I can get famously attractive women to hurl themselves around poles for me".

Mmhhhh... I still like the video, the moves fit the music. (I guess that's what Sofia Coppola wanted to show. *grin* Well, at least she knew what she did.)

I love that video...
Yeah that is an amazing video...but as pathetic as I am, I can hardly watch that video without crying...that one and "Ana's song." that makes me too sad. "After all these years" also makes me sad too for some reason. But it's kind of like watching a sad movie, even though it makes you depressed or whatever you still love it.
Ok, I also love "Bowl of Oranges" by Bright eyes, "November Rain" by Guns and Roses, "The Past and the Pending" by the Shins, "Someday" by the strokes, "Kiss of life" by Supergrass, "NYC" by interpol, "Matinee" by Franz Ferdinand
