I dont agree on Franz Ferdinand being the best live band I've seen in concert.
Um, the Secret Machines were pretty good, as well as Kings of Leon and LIFEHOUSE! That night was great from first minute till the end. I felt so happy afterwards!

The Hives when they played The Metro on 27th Jan this year. They aren't my fave band, but they're such awsome performers that they win out for me. Here's a couple of photos I took on the night:

Opeth. No doubt about it. They were absolutely jaw-droppingly amazing (really, my father's jaw did drop with awe during the performance of "Deliverance").

And this is back when I wasn't such a fan. My brother, my dad, and I were all just bored looking for a concert to go to, and my father was searching around online when he ran into Opeth. Now this is back when I wasn't much into metal or deathmetal, and neither were my brother or father, but the clips of songs that were heard online sounded so amazing that I just set aside the growling lyrics. Especially becasue when the guy sings, it's beautiful. And so we bought a couple of albums and said what the hell, let's go. And we did, and thus, we discovered Opeth by chance.

It's amazing seeing the lead singer switch back in forth from growling to this beautiful singing so quickly in songs. I couldn't believe for a while that both were coming out of the same guy.

I used to actually hate the screaming lyrics, so I had started with their soft album. Then I slowly grew used to it and now I love it. Opeth made me realize that death metal and black metal isn't just "loud senseless noise with a bunch of annoying screaming Satan worshippers."

My best concerts:

die ärzte - they played four fucking awsome hours
the hives - they know how to rock! Although they haven´t played that long I so fell in Love to that concert

and finally the Adam Green Concert. Totally different to what I´ve had seen before this. And it wasn´t even a real concert. He played in a very small pub.
Yehaww, I´m gonna see him him in 13 days again. rolleyes.gif

I guess I'm still to realize that.
